Measles Update for HDGH Visitors and Outpatients
With local cases of Measles increasing, we ask that all visitors and outpatients closely monitor themselves for any signs or symptoms of the virus – such as fever, cough, runny nose, fatigue, and 3-7 days later a red rash.
- If you or your child are sick, please do not visit HDGH.
- If you are an outpatient and are feeling sick, please contact your care team before attending your appointment.
- All other visitation guidelines remain the same.
We encourage everyone to have a heightened awareness regarding the increase of local Measles cases and to follow the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit on social media and visit their website for exposure updates and important information.
