The Psychologist is responsible for provision of psychological services including consultation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment and evaluation of clientele. Duties as assigned may periodically also involve the provision of psychological support services for other programs. The Psychologist is also responsible for provision of indirect psychological consultation and in-service education as an active member of the interprofessional program team. The Psychologist is responsible for delivery of care consistent with the vision and values of the organization.
2 – 5 years’ clinical experience working with adult and geriatric population – Required
Ability to maintain high professional standards in clinical psychology service delivery
Ability to work cooperatively with physicians and other caregivers to provide and integrate psychological findings
Ability to stay current in best practice methodology for effective and efficient completion of consultations
French Language proficiency is an asset
Education and/or Certification:
Ph.D. in Psychology - Required
License to practice in Ontario as a Psychologist or is eligible to become licensed in Ontario – Required
Current certificate of insurance for professional liability
