Sheri McGeen, Chief Human Resources Officer
Sheri McGeen is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare (HDGH). A lawyer by trade, Sheri has over 26 years of robust experience in healthcare Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety. In over two decades, Sheri has consistently fostered positive labour relations at HDGH, while also leading the Hospital Bargaining Team in negotiations. Through Sheri’s leadership, HDGH has been awarded the Gord Smith Healthy Workplace Award by the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit for eight consecutive years since 2016. Sheri was involved in the development of HDGH’s Workplace Violence Prevention policy and Employee Rewards and Recognition program. Sheri continues to support both initiatives through hands-on policy reviews and event organization. Through a commitment to uplifting HDGH staff, Sheri launched and now oversees for The Wellness Committee, which drives activities to foster morale, inclusivity and team building. As Chief Human Resources Officer, Sheri oversees all Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Organizational Development and employee wellness policies at the hospital.
